Health screening is divided into cancer screening and chronic illness screening. Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) and Health Promotion Board (HPB) recommends women to go for these screenings depending on your age:
Chronic illness recommended for screening includes screening for high blood pressure, obesity, Diabetes and cholesterol.
When you are between 25 and 39 years old: Recommended to screen for High Blood Pressure, obesity and diabetes.
When you are 40 years and above: Recommended to screening for high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes and cholesterol.
Cancer screening recommended are as below:
Cervical cancer screening: Between the ages of 25 and 69 years old.
Breast cancer screening and colorectal screening are recommended for women 50 years old and above.
