I am undergoing chemotherapy and I want to have children. I read that chemotherapy may affect my fertility. What should I do? Should I freeze my eggs?

I am sorry to hear that you need to have chemotherapy. Treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy can have a negative effect on fertility which may not be reversible after the completion of treatment. Fertility preservation options such as egg or embryo freezing should certainly be considered. Your oncologist should be able to refer you to a fertility specialist who can discuss your options.
